Brief History
Kapcherop Technical Training Institute (KTTI), founded in 2017, is dedicated to providing high-quality technical education to Kenyans from its base in the Cherangany Hills. Aiming to be a global leader in TVET, KTTI has rapidly expanded, now training over 1,000 students annually in a range of programs. With modern facilities, particularly in Automotive Engineering, the institute focuses on practical, industry-relevant training through Competency Based Education and Training (CBET) courses, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the workforce.
KTTI actively supports Kenya’s development goals, including the “Big Four” Agenda and Vision 2030, by delivering crucial skills training. The institute encourages youth to pursue technical education through government incentives and has developed a strategic plan for 2019-2022 to guide its growth. Emphasizing teamwork and partnerships, KTTI is committed to preparing skilled individuals for successful careers and contributing to national economic and social progress.
